Shipungo Safari & Tours offers you a 3 Days trip into the vast lands of Central Kalahari Game Reserve. It is the largest, most remotely situated reserve in Southern Africa, and the second largest wildlife reserve in the world, encompassing 52 800 square kilometers. The landscape is dominated by silver terminalia sandveld, Kalahari sand acacias and Kalahari apple leaf, interspersed with grasslands and dotted with occasional sand dunes, pans and shallow fossil rivers valley.
During this safari, you will be staying in tented camps for two nights. Accommodation is in 3×3 meter tents with comfortable bedroll and linen. You are provided with a bush shower and toilet.

Day 1: MAUN – CENTRAL KALAHARI GAME RESERVE
Wake up early in the morning and have breakfast. Your guide will pick you up from your lodge and do a short brief about the trip. Then depart to Central Kalahari Game Reserve using a 4-wheel drive safari vehicle. Upon your arrival, staff will set up the camp, then direct you to your camping tents. After a short while, lunch will be served and then go for a siesta. After siesta, you can have tea then engage in your afternoon game drive within the park. Immediately after the activity you will go back to the camp where you will be allowed to have a shower. Dinner will be served and the time for bed will be determined by the last guest.
Accommodation: Walk-in 3m x 3m tents with comfortable fully made bedrolls on stretchers. Shared toilet tent and shower tent.
Meals: Light afternoon lunch (cold meats, salad bread, fruit, and 3L bottled water). 2-course dinner (soup/main or main/dessert with a couple of glasses of wine).
Day 2: CENTRAL KALAHARI GAME RESERVE
Wake up early in the morning, have a quick shower. Breakfast will be served well in time. Immediately after breakfast you will engage in a morning game drive within the park. Come back to the camp. Your lunch will be served and then go for a siesta. After siesta, you can have tea and resume your afternoon game drive activity within the park. Drive back to the camp after your afternoon activity, enjoy fresh water and then dinner will be served.
Accommodation: Walk-in 3m x 3m tents with comfortable fully made bedrolls on stretchers. Shared toilet tent and shower tent.
Meals: Early breakfast (cereals, rusks, tea, coffee). Brunch (eggs, bacon, beans, fried tomato, sausage, toast). Lunch and 2-course dinner with wine.
Day 3: CENTRAL KALAHARI GAME RESERVE – MAUN
Wake up early morning, have a quick shower and breakfast, then go for a short game drive within the park while the staff breaks down the camp before coming back to Maun where your safari will end and you will be dropped off at a hotel of your choice.
Accommodation: Hotel drop-off in Maun.
Meals: Early breakfast, brunch, and light afternoon lunch with bottled water.
