The hotel pick ups commence around 07:00 AM. Guests are transported by road from Livingstone for about a 1-hour drive to the Kazungula border stop, where you shall do your passport formalities for both the Zambian and Botswana sides just after crossing the newly constructed Kazungula bridge. The guide on the Botswana side will be waiting for you. Once we meet the guide, you drive through to our Botswana office where you shall have a short briefing about the activity.
After briefing, the guides will decide whether to start with a game drive, lunch, then river safari cruise, or the other way around. This breathtaking river is famous for its rich elephant population, so keep your eyes peeled to spot the wildlife in the water and along the banks. Enjoy a fresh buffet lunch with several options at a beautiful lodge situated on the riverbank.
Your open-sided vehicle will allow you to see 360-degrees around you and at great distances over the safari, which is populated with elephants, Cape buffalo, lions, and antelopes.

Step 1: Hotel Pickup & Transfer
Clients are picked up as early as 06:50 AM – 7:00 AM (please be prepared 15 minutes before pickup time). You will be driven from Livingstone for about 45–60 minutes to the Kazungula border.
Step 2: Border Crossing & Briefing
Complete passport formalities for both the Zambian and Botswana sides just after crossing the newly constructed Kazungula bridge. Meet your Botswana guide and head to the office for a short briefing about your activities.
Step 3: Game Drive & River Safari Cruise
Depending on the guide’s schedule, experience an open-sided vehicle game drive offering 360-degree views of elephants, Cape buffalo, lions, and antelopes, combined with a breathtaking river safari cruise famous for its massive elephant population.
Step 4: Buffet Lunch
Enjoy a fresh buffet lunch with several delicious options at a beautiful lodge situated directly on the riverbank.
- Always carry Birth Certificates when traveling with kids across the border for this tour or any tour involving immigration processes.
